Our rabbit adventures started with three young bucks in March 2012.
Stephen decided that he liked the rabbits, so in April 2013 we added two does. Now we have a whole mess of them because well, they're rabbits.
Oreo is our buck and the father to our first litter of kits.
We waited until Jelly Bean was almost a year old to breed her and had excellent results.
We have three does and two bucks from our first litter.
Two adopted wild rabbits round out our fluffle.
We've lost some of our rabbits over the past two years but have come to understand that's part of raising rabbits. Another part is population control. We aren't quite ready for our fluffy little friends to be on the table so for now, quarters remain separate and new hutches are under construction.
