You know from the previous post that I have a chicken problem. Well apparently the natural world can somehow sense this and all of a sudden I'm running a bird sanctuary.
A nice little family of wrens built a nest on top of our brick column and successfully raised four little ones that I was lucky enough to catch a photo of the day they hatched.

Apologies on the poorly focused last picture but she gave two chances before she flew off to a nearby power line. These little ones went from hatch to empty nest in just 18 days! Now to see how long the robins in the opposite corner fair.
