Chicken Trainers

Our Phase I chicks are old enough to explore outside a bit.  My mom blessed us with a super versatile portable exercise pen she picked up at the flea market.  It was big enough for the chicks and the kids, although barely.

The first order of business became names for the chicks.  We decided that since you really couldn't tell them apart yet to go with a group name.  Now they are the  "Freds" which is short for Female Reds. Next up, training.
Obviously.

Now each Fred can happily perch on a child, especially Fred #1.  I can't possibly tell you which chick that is, but the kids seem to be able to pick her out immediately.
