Straw Play Pen

Problem: Jellybean's hutch is getting awfully small with a full grown mama rabbit and 8 kits.  The portable exercise pen made of 1" welded wire is currently acting as the older chicks run.  The baby bunnies will slide right through the 2" squares of the dog kennel run we use for the older rabbits.

Solution: Extra bales of straw from the twin's farm themed birthday party. Stacked tight in a small rectangle, they become the perfect barrier for keeping little buns closed in.  Mom and the five oldest babies get to stretch their legs and chill out on the cool ground.

Bonus: Our three little wild adopted buns get the run of the hutch.  They are still too wild and quick to set loose just yet.
